About Me

My name is Simon Gardling. I’m a FOSS advocate and a free software developer. I mainly use Rust, Java, and Python. I’ve also dabbled in Minecraft server software modding. My most recent project is a mathematical graphing software using Rust and WebAssembly (check it out). I’m currently working to get my B.S in Computer Science at Florida Institute of Technology. I interned at SpaceX in Redmond, Washington in 2024, and will return in 2025 !

What Is This Website?

This website is a landing page for myself. It also contains some information as to what services I host. I used to host a few public services and mirrors but they became either irrelevant or a maintenance burden for me. But if/when I begin hosting more things I will put them here.

How did I make this site

I originally used lowdown and ssg5 in order to generate this site from markdown files. But I recently switched to using Hugo with the Monochrome theme.
